Criteria

• males & females
• 18 to 75 years old
• diagnosed with bipolar I disorder, currently depressed 
• on lithium or divalproex (Depakote)

Details

• out-patient
• open-label phase: 8 visits throughout 8 weeks
• extension study: 7 visits throughout 6 months 
• reasonable reimbursement for travel and meals available for those who qualify

Qualified Participants:

• 18 to 65 years old
• diagnosed with bipolar I disorder
• currently experiencing manic symptoms
• compensation available for time and travel
